The Left Angle Cross of Refinement

What the Left Angle Cross of Refinement means

Retreat and memory (33), sensitivity to real needs (19), direction (2) and self-expression (1) let you boil down messy experience into its essence, helping people finally name what they actually need. The trap is endlessly polishing an idea instead of living it, or over-reacting to everyone else's needs before checking your own. The gift is the distilled insight you offer after taking your time — say less, but say it after you have actually sat with it.

The four gates of the Cross of Refinement

The cross brings together Gate 19 (Wanting), Gate 2 (Direction of the Self), Gate 33 (Retreat) and Gate 1 (Self-Expression) — Gate 19 in the Root Center; Gates 2 and 1 in the G Center; Gate 33 in the Throat Center. Its 2 variations fall in the Quarters of Civilization and Mutation.
