Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This policy explains what Traitso (“we”, “us”) collects when you use https://www.traitso.com, why, and the choices you have. The service is operated by [legal entity name]. Questions: support@traitso.com.
What we collect
- Birth data you enter: first name, birth date, birth time (optional) and birth city — used only to calculate your chart and build your reading.
- Your email, if you buy a reading — for the receipt, delivery of your link and support.
- Payment information is entered on lava.top's secure checkout. We never see or store your card details; we receive a confirmation of payment.
- Basic usage data: an anonymous visitor ID cookie, which page or post brought you here (e.g. a utm tag), device type and the pages you view — to understand which content helps people and to keep the site working.
How long we keep it
We keep your chart so its private link keeps working when you come back. Charts with a purchased reading are kept so you can download your reading again at any time. Email us and we'll delete your chart and birth data whenever you ask. Anonymous usage events are kept for about 13 months. Payment records may be kept longer where the law requires it.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We use a few service providers who process data on our behalf:
- lava.top — payment processing;
- our hosting provider (Railway) — runs the website and database;
- Photon by komoot and OpenStreetMap Nominatim — the city text you type is sent to them to find the place and time zone;
Cookies
We set two first-party cookies: sid (a random visitor ID, 1 year) and ft (which link first brought you here, 90 days). They contain no birth data.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to support@traitso.com. Your private chart link is a secret — anyone who has it can view that chart, so share it only with people you trust.
California residents: you have the right to know, delete and correct personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information.
Children
The service isn't directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change and adjust the date above.
