Gate 24 — Return / Rationalization
What Gate 24 means
Gate 24 circles back to the same thought again and again, looking at it from a slightly different angle each time — not because you're stuck, but because that repetition is literally how the idea gets sharper. From outside it can look like you're obsessing; from inside, you're slowly turning an idea until it finally clicks into something simple enough to explain to anyone. The breakthrough usually shows up in the shower or on a walk, not while you're grinding at a desk forcing it. Once it lands, it tends to feel obviously true — not because you argued yourself into it, but because it actually matured. If someone jumps in with their opinion too early, it can derail a thought that was seconds away from resolving on its own.
Gift
You can take one nagging thought and, through repetition, turn it into a clear, well-tested idea other people can actually use.
Shadow
Getting stuck replaying the same mental loop forever, mistaking going in circles for actual progress.
