Gate 14 — Power Skills / Possession in Great Measure
What Gate 14 means
Gate 14 fuels ambition through actual competence — real skill and resourcefulness in going after material success, backed by an entrepreneurial drive to build something genuinely worth having. You're naturally good at turning effort and talent into real resources, and there's a strong desire here to have the means to support the people and causes you actually care about. This energy is at its best when it's aimed at work you're genuinely passionate about, because the power here is meant to serve something bigger than just piling up money. Chasing resources purely for their own sake, with no real passion behind it, tends to leave this gate feeling empty even when it looks successful from the outside. Real power here comes from loving the work first, with the money following as a side effect.
Gift
Entrepreneurial competence that turns genuine passion into real material resources and security.
Shadow
Chasing money or status for its own sake, disconnected from any real passion, which leaves success feeling hollow.
